Cinder Cone Miniatures
After being inspired by some miniature work by a fellow 3D scanner my wife and I decided to get started on a castle erector set of assets. We decided to build our subjects out of Cindercone because it has some lovely micro details to it. We also made our mortar out of a mixture of sand and Mod Podge.

Here is the third texture scan and a rather fun one because it is of the red rocks that we have here in Colorado. And it should come as no surprise that this subject is from the aptly named Red Rocks Park.
This rock wall was constructed on a foam board which supplied support while we built it. It really has a ton of geometric detail and gave me a bit of trouble when I processed it in ZBrush. But it is complete and here for your rustic enjoyment!
This rock texture looks almost like vertical dirt but it IS a deeply pitted rock texture surface. Enjoy!
